Refund, Dispute & Cancellation Policy
_Last updated: July 1, 2026_
This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and billing disputes work for ManyQuills subscriptions. It's part of our Terms of Service. ManyQuills is operated by Tyler Williams; reach us any time at [email protected].
Try before you subscribe
Chapter 1 of every story is free. You can read the opening of anything on ManyQuills before paying, so you know exactly what you're subscribing to.
Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account's "Manage billing." There's no cancellation fee and no need to contact us.
- When you cancel, your subscription simply won't renew. Your access continues through the end of the billing period you've already paid for — you don't lose access immediately.
- After that period ends, your account reverts to the free level (Chapter 1 of every story remains free).
Refunds
- ManyQuills subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or time you didn't use. Because you can cancel at any time and keep your access through the end of the paid period, cancelling is the way to stop future charges.
- We will, of course, refund genuine billing errors — such as a duplicate charge or a charge after a confirmed cancellation.
- Where local consumer-protection law gives you a right to a refund, we honor that right.
Billing problems & disputes
If you see a charge you don't recognize, or something doesn't look right, please contact us first at [email protected]. We're a small, responsive operation and we'll look into it and make it right quickly — usually faster than a bank dispute. Contacting us before filing a chargeback helps us resolve the issue directly and keep your account in good standing.
How to cancel (step by step)
1. Sign in at manyquills.com. 2. Go to your account and open Manage billing. 3. Choose Cancel subscription and confirm. 4. You'll keep full access until the end of your current period.
